Early Education Funding

We offer FUNDED Educational Sessions for eligible children from the term after they are 9 months old.

This includes funding streams for working parents as well as funding provided to some families via the LEA. We also provide the funded traditional universal funding for 3 & 4 year olds (equivalent to 15 hours per week).

Each nursery delivers their own offer based on a number of factors including opening times & availability.

We provide snacks & food for children staying over meal times & for all 3 & 4 year old funded children we ask for a small contribution to covering the meal costs if your sessions covers meal times & for weekly consumables.

We have specific policies on Admissions & Early Years Funding allocations, please ask for a copy if you would like to read these.

Each nurseries funded offer can be obtained by emailing your preferred nursery for information.

Apart from Nunsthorpe which only opens term time only. We do not offer term time only places & we also have a minimum of two visits/sessions per week.

Tax Free Childcare

We accept payments through the Tax Free Childcare Scheme. The Government-backed Tax-Free Childcare scheme essentially gives eligible families 20% off childcare costs. You open an online Tax-Free Childcare account and the Government adds 20p for every 80p you pay. You then pay your childcare provider from that account.

Childcare Grant Scheme

Students in the UK can get up to 85% of their childcare costs, or a fixed maximum amount, whichever is less.

The maximum you can get is:

​

• up to £183.75 a week for 1 child

• up to £315.03 a week for 2 or more children

Your grant will be paid into a Childcare Grant Payment Service (CCGPS) account. Your childcare provider will send requests for payment to the CCGPS, which you can approve through your account.
