Leap Ahead Nurseries have been providing high quality and affordable childcare and preschool education in North & North East Lincolnshire since 2014.
Our individual sites are small and homely and strive to meet the needs of all our parents and children as well as having the benefits of being part of a larger organisation to provide support, development, training for staff, excellent recruitment processes and day to day support for the teams.
Our sites are beautifully designed & resourced to meet the specific learning & developmental needs of the child of today. Embracing their needs to be curious & explore, gone are the one purpose, plastic, bright coloured toys & 'in' are authentic, natural resources & equipment that can embrace a love for learning, 'awe & wonder'.
We currently have 5 nurseries along the A180/M180 corridor, 2 in Grimsby & one each in Scunthorpe, Brigg & Ulceby perfect for families who live or commute to the area.

Our Staff are highly skilled, and work passionately to deliver our Ethos. From in house inductions and training (including Safeguarding Children) to individual team members personal development we ensure we have dedicated individuals working to their full potential who can all bring something unique to the nursery team.
We have staff who specialise in supporting children with Special Educational Needs, we have Family Support Practitioners and staff who are the ‘leads’ in Learning & Development.
We commit to training the Practitioners for the future with a successful Apprenticeship programme which has been in operation since 2009.
Staff also hold Paediatric First Aid & Basic Food Hygiene certificates .

All our sites (accept Rutland) have dedicated Baby/Toddler spaces designed especially for the needs of younger children.
Providing a real Home from Home environment, quiet & calm, whilst still providing a space to nap, play, eat and for cuddles.
Our staff provide exciting, daily opportunities for your child to develop new skills or just practice ones they already have!
Lots of tactile play, singing, looking at stories, physical play & using the high-quality educational resources to develop social skills, their imagination, communication & creative play.
Our Baby/Toddler Rooms are small (between 6-9 children) so you can be assured that with a minimum adult to child ratio of 1:3 your little one's individual needs will be met.

Our Preschools are a hive of activity just as you can imagine. They are designed to support all the children's individual needs and interests. We provide high quality and open ended play resources to develop a child's love of Learning.
Full engagement from the Staff in the children’s play ensures each child develops curiosity in their world and learns to learn.
Nature, outdoor play, using authentic resources and “Loose Parts” is a key focus in our preschools ensuring children can lead their own learning and spark their imagination, curiosity, awe & wonder with the support of our highly trained staff. Gone is the confinement of toys with one purpose, we are caring & educating the next generation who will inherit the earth, let's give them the ability to care for it for years to come.
